Hello,
I have a powerBI pro version and I am able to "share to web". The people who I send the link are easily able to see the information that I share on the web and I really like the way it is working.
I was just curious that if I am able to share the information on web with my pro subscription, why would I ever be needing to purchase a premium suscription? What extra functionality which I dont have now will I be getting as a premium user.

@Anonymous great question, wiht powerbi pro, you can pretty much do everything except some of the new features you cannot use with pro like publish paginated reports, Machine Learning etc etc. Also with Preimum you get dedicate capacity and you can can refresh schedule data more often compare to limiation of maximum 8 time schedule data refresh each day.
Above all, costing. Each pro user cost approx 9.99 USD and if a org have 1000 users, it will 10000USD/month where as with preimum capacity you can assign license to each user at p1 premum sku (which cost I think 6kUSD/month). You can check these costs on powerbi website, i'm just giving a simple example.
Hope it helps to get basic guidance between powerbi pro/premium, here a link to a blog post.
