Good day Community.
I am new to using Power BI and DAX and I still have a lot to learn, I ask for your valuable help in the following.
I have a couple of calculated fields (Measures) and I need to divide one with the other, it would be something like this: Testable / Total.
The composition of both is as follows:
Testable = CALCULATE(SUM('Tracker'[Count_of_Testable]))
Total = ([Testable]+[NonTestable]+[Testability]), these 3 are made up of the following:
* Testable = CALCULATE(SUM('Tracker'[Count_of_Testable])) - this field is the same as the one I just indicated above
* NonTestable = CALCULATE(SUM('Tracker'[Count_of_NonTestable]))
* Testability = CALCULATE(SUM('Tracker'[Count_of_Testability]))
The problem I have is that when I want to do the division, either using IF or DIVIDE, I get the Circular Dependency error.
Could you please tell me how I can solve this? ...any step by step or something? ...because at this point I have tried everything and I still get the same error.
I will know how to thank you very much

Hi @Anonymous ,
Try formula like below:
a =
CALCULATE (
SUM ( FactInternetSales[SalesAmount] ),
ALL ( FactInternetSales ),
DimProduct[Color] = "Silver"
)
b =
CALCULATE (
SUM ( FactInternetSales[SalesAmount] ),
ALL ( FactInternetSales ),
DimProduct[Color] = "Red"
)
c =
CALCULATE (
SUM ( FactInternetSales[SalesAmount] ),
ALL ( FactInternetSales ),
DimProduct[Color] = "Blue"
)
Result = DIVIDE([a],[a]+[c]+[b])
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and test data. Looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Henry
