Choose which security role to apply dynamic row level security

I have created 2 dynamic row level security roles. These work fine.

They are:

1) to allow managers to see their direct reports data only

2) to allow managers to see all people beneath them in the organisationsal hierarchy (direct reports, and all people beneath them - cascading down the hierarchy).

My question is, sometimes a manager only wants to see their direct reports data, and sometimes they may want to see their direct reports as well as all people below those direct reports.

How can I allow it so in the report, someone can choose to see only their direct reports, or everyone beneath them?

For example, the CEO may only want to see the general managers, OR he may want to see data for everyone in the whole company.

Thanks

Trev

Thank you for the links.

That is info on how to set up RLS, but it does not answer my question as to how to choose which role to apply at run time
