Hi, my background is more excel than PBI but looking to create something similar to a vlookup.
I have two tables, Table 1 contains various dates, Table 2 contains a Start Date and End Date with a unique reference for each range of dates.
I would like to add the reference from Table 2 into Table 1 if the date lies equal to or between the two dates. I could do it in excel and import in but that wouldnt allow the report to run independently on PBI hence the ask.
Hoping there is a solution for this.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply though im a bit confused trying to replace the info in the dax with my data.
My lookup reference table is WeeklyRef, the table with the date being looked up is LRSignOff.
Is it possible you could show this in DAX please?
Hi, @Anonymous
Can you provide some sample data or simple pbix files? Sensitive information can be removed in advance. What kind of expected results do you expect? You can also show it with pictures.
