Charts and Sums based on Multiple Slider Selections

Hi ! I am fairly new to power bi and I have a dashboard where I use mutiple sliders to display cost sums and count totals for a model.

I would Like to add a total which uses the input from the other slider selections. For example Slider 1 would be used to select category1 with a value of 100 and slider 2 would be used to select category2 with a value of 80. And I would like to sum the total costs of catergory 1 and 2 based on the value slider selections. Has anyone done this or know how to tackle something like it?

Thanks for any help.

Hi @aleipard,

Can you please share some dummy data with a similar data structure and expected results? It should help us clarify your scenario and test to coding formula.

 Hi Xiaoxin Sheng,

So the data looks lke the below table. I have a measure to sum up all the cost per the rehab action selection.  All the measures within the dashbard are quite simple.

Also attached is picture of how it looks. The red box is what I am wanting to be the sum of the other visuals.

Thanks!

Hi @aleipard,

Did these slicer designs base on the same table fields? If that is the case, you need to create standalone tables and use their field as the source of slicers. (current power bi not able to extract different selections from the same field)
