Chart - display name from a linked table instead of number

My dataset is an Access file with two linked tables. In one table is the main data and a field "salesman" is a number from 1 to 12. In the second table is the salesman number (1 to 12) and their name.

I want to create a chart that is sales ($) by salesman. This is rather easy, but the x-axis shows the salesman number (1 to 12), not their name. How can I get it to display the name?

Thanks.

That's what I thought. It would show the names, but the sales numbers were wrong. I started to look at the tables' relationships and it turns out that when I brought the Access DB into PowerBI, it linked the wrong table fields together. Once I re-linked the correct fields, all is well.

Hi @notageek,

You need to place the Salemans name from the second table on your x-axis if the table are linked in PBI should give you what you want.
