Hi,
We have deployed a SSAS Tabular model with translations in place.
When using excel and changing the LocaleIdentifier in the connection string we get the correct translations.
Now we have Power BI Desktop and a pbix file using live connection to this model.
When we change the Windows system locale settings and open the pbix file we can see the correct translations.
What we need to have is the ability to get the correct translations on the report without changing the system locale settings.
How can we tell Power BI Desktop to use a specific LocaleIdentifier value when opening the live connection?
Hi @attekallio,
Current you can't setting locale identifier in live connection mode, edit features will been disabled in this mode so you can't change or modify locale identifier.
You can also take a look at following link with same requirement:
SSAS MD Live connect - Cube language setting (Locale Identifier)
