Changing slicer from Month to YTD

Hi,

When you have a simple slicer with months: "JAN, FEB, MAR..." to select YTD Mar you need to tick all 3 months. Is there a way to quickly change that slicer so it bins "JAN, FEB" into "YTD FEB". "JAN,FEB,MAR" into "YTD MAR" etc. without having to add additional columns for YTD in your data source?

I tried to find whether it is possible with bins option but then it's not possible to bin one month multiple times eg.  month "JAN" which would be included in all YTD's.

Thanks,

P.

HI @PshemekFLK ,

If your slicer stored date or number value, you can consider to change it to 'before' mode to calculate cumulative total.

If you use text value in slicer, I don't think it is possible to dynamic calculate rolling total based on these value. You need to convert them to date or number type, so that you can apply range filter on these values.
