Hi,
We recently moved our database to a different server. Now my challenge is that I have multiple reports that use older data source IP. How do I update them on the powerbi service directly instead of going into individual reports on PowerBI desktop and updating IPs.
Here is the problem
1. I need to update IPs of the data source in every report on the desktop
2. Apply changes ( which requires refreshing the tables and it takes a long time because I have a lot of tables)
3. Published the report to PowerBI service. ( If I dont refresh the tables it does not update the IP )
Please help.
Hi, @Anonymous
Based on my research, It is suggested to update the IPs of data source in Power BI desktop. If your data source is a specific kind, you may modify the IPs of data source in Power BI service with api.
For further information, you may refer to the following link. It may help.

Best Regards
Allan
