Hope someone sees what I am doing wrong here. I am trying to use Table.RenameColumns and pass the new column name via a variable but for simplicity sake not even below seems to work without causing problems with visuals.
Table.RenameColumns(#"Changed Type",{{"Sales", "Sales"&"1"}}) - fails with Something's wrong...on visuals
Table.RenameColumns(#"Changed Type",{{"Sales", "Sales1"}}) - works as you would expect

Hi @smayo,
I have gotten responses from the Product Team:
We are not fixing the visuals in all cases when M is changed, only most basic scenarios are covered. Customer can mitigate the issue by not use '&' or by fixing the visual.
Best Regards,
Dale
