Changing PowerBi reports to different sources and permissions without changing the PBIX

Hi, I have a report that we will shortly be deploying to different groups, all using different datasources and databases. We've tested each and the schema is exactly the same. So doing it manually is easy.

BUT: I have to open each one, change them and than save each. This means that in a way, you are changing it every time.  

Is there a way to change datasources, datasets and permissions without actually going into the Report and manually changing the details?  It would be difficult to give a PBR to someone and have them distribute it out, but change it to a different datasource, etc. each time.  We wouldn't want non PBI developers in a deployment capacity to have to open up PowerBI and make changes..

@Anonymous change the type of the parameter to text and it will work.

Thanks very much for helping.

I added my screen shot. Take a look.
Simply put, i created in the PBIX a datasource and database parameter.
I think can go here and update the data source but I'm locked of changing the database.
Both parameters are strings. So why would i be able to change one parameter but not the other?

@Anonymous you can add parameters for data connection, let's say server name, database name, etc and use these parameters to connect to the source. 

Once the report is published in the service, you can change the parameter value in the service instead of opening the pbix file and changing the connection there.

Thanks very much for your response. 
I do have two parameters in my report, datasource and database.

When I go to the service to set up the datasource and database, only the datasource is available for change.  I can't get to the database parameter.

Any suggestions?
