I designed a report in our SPO sandbox that I would like to move to the SPO production site. The list names and column names are identical. I tried changing the data source by using the change source option, it broke all the visuals, then I tried the advanced editor and replced the GUID's, same result. Am I doing this wrong? do I have to re-create the report?

Don't know why I was having trouble with this, it's very easy. Change the data source by entering the new url for the SPO site in Data source settings and select the list.
I wanted to add some detail to the above, in the quey editor go to the applied steps pane, then in the "Source" step change the site and in the "Navigation" step select the list.
