I have a question. I have a field with is text. It has both numbers and text in it.
Is it possible to change a negative values inside field to a number with paranthesis or bracket.
For example, if you have a value of 100 in a field the it should be transformed to (100).
I hope this helps.
Thank you
Hey,
this can be achieved by "Custom format strings", here you will find the official documentation: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/desktop-custom-format-strings.
I recommen this article by Chris Webb, that explains using custom format strings in more detail: https://blog.crossjoin.co.uk/2019/09/11/power-bi-custom-format-string-examples-part-1-numbers/
Hopefully, this is what you are looking for.
Regards,
Tom
