Change in attribute names when importing data from tabular

Hi,

I've imported data and model from SSAS Tabular 2016 to latest PBI Desktop, and inside PBID now i see all the attributes inside "Adventure works internet sales", with names like Product.Category, Product.Class...
I was expecting a main struture with several folders for each entity (ex. Customer, DAte, Geography, Internet Sales, Product, ....), an inside each entity its attributes, just like Data Tools, or PBI Desktop when "live connected" to Tabular, but it seems that the attributes are placed inside only one "structure", an for each attribute "xxxxx" of structure "yyyyy" changed to "yyyyy.xxxxx".

Why does this happen? Is it possible to maintain all the structures imported?

Regards

Hi @Anonymous,

Power bi not supported SSAS properties structures, it will split all properties (such as key, value, name...) to different columns with prefixes from original properties name.

I don't think this is possible.

Hi, thanks for answering.

This is unbelievable, even because PBI internally is based on SSAS.
