I want dates to display in dd-mm-yy (e.g. 01-Jan-20) but this isn't one of the format options. How can I do this?
1. Change Windows Regional Settings
2. Use Tabular Editor
3. Open the data in excel, set it there and then re-import into Power BI
4. Use a custom format string in the Modelling view
What are the possible alternatives ?

Hi @amirabedhiafi ,
You can simply create a DAX calculated column something as below:
NewDate = FORMAT([yourDateColumn], "dd-mmm-yy")
The above will give you dates in format as 01-Jan-2020
Thanks,
Pragati
Hi @amirabedhiafi ,
As per my understanding , changing regional settings and using a calculated column as @Pragati11 has suggested will work.
Please accept this as a solution if your question has been answered !!
Appreciate a Kudos 😀
