Change date type in Power Query using M Script

Hi Experts

 

How could you change the date type format from US to UK current i have 3/15/2019, i would like to show the date as 15/3/2019. 

using M script step.

blah blah
    #"Changed Type" = Table.TransformColumnTypes(Source,{{"ISSUE_OCCURRENCE_DT", type date}})
in
    #"Changed Type"

Hi @Anonymous ,

1. The date format display decided by the local client Regional settings. Please make sure your region setting like below. Then you don't need to change the date format and it will be "dd/MM/yyyy".

2. If you don't want to change the Region settings. You can refer to this video: Changing Date Format (MM/DD/YYYY to DD/MM/YYYY).
