Change color of dot on scatter chart based on slicer selection

I'm looking to change the color of one dot based on a slicer selection.

My data consists of two columns -

1. Employee

2. Average variance (whole number)

I also have average variance as a measure, but made it into a calculated column so it could be used on the x-axis of the scatter chart.

The scatter chart set up is -

X-Axis - average variance

Y-Axis - empty

Size - count of employees

Goal is for when an employee is selected, the dot representing their average variance turns a different color so they can see how they compare to everyone else.

Is this possible with a scatter chart? Is there a better solution/visual to get to the same goal?

Thanks!

Hi @hahl ,

After my testing, I can't find any solutions in conditional formatting. You could post your ideas here, maybe it will be a feature of Power BI in the future.

And you could also seek some custom visual in the visual marketplace.
