Hi,
I have an issue, that I can't seem to solve easily. I have a ledger table with projects that have a certain type (1,2,3,4 for my dummy data).
I then have table showing YTD values for each type, what I would like is to have all values show up in the current period type value (could be more than one row per period, but same type value)
To show what happens with just a simple DATESYTD:
Outcome I would like would be total sum on Delay, category 4, because this is the Type that project is in in my selected period. Is this doable?
Anyone know how solve this with DAX?

@Anonymous Hard to say really, but I would avoid TI functions. You may find this helpful - https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/To-bleep-With-Time-Intelligence/ba-p/1260000
Also, see if my Time Intelligence the Hard Way provides a different way of accomplishing what you are going for.

Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
@Anonymous , Are you using date table, marked as date table ?
example
YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD('Date'[Date],"12/31"))
Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
