Hi all,
I have a matrix visual and I am trying to change the total for these two highlighted columns to be an average and not a sum, is this possible? For example here the average for these should show $27.0825 and $26.1825.
I have looked at several other posts but I am getting conflicting info.
Thanks in advance

Hi @Anonymous ,
You may create measures like DAX below.
Measure1 =
AVERAGEX (
SUMMARIZE (Table1, Table1[resident] ),
CALCULATE ( SUM ( Table1[Rate - Actuals] ) )
)
Measure2 =
AVERAGEX (
SUMMARIZE (Table1, Table1[resident] ),
CALCULATE ( SUM ( Table1[Rate - Budget] ) )
)

@Anonymous , can you share some data and your measures? I have prepared a small sample of various measures that compute averages here if you want to look at it. Averages PBIX file.
