Change Data Source but page reports and visualizations linked to new data

How do I change the query/data source on powerbi so all the end user reports stay the same? The fields are all there from the original, but it has a larger sample of data with a couple of extra fields

@lowei ,

So query means power query, right? If it is, I'm afraid the power query steps should be recreated after data source changing.

@lowei ,

Click Edit Queries-> Data source settings and select the datasource, then click edit credentials.

Thanks, this almost gets me there!

I made a query that combines multiple files, but when I use this, its only allowing me to change the source, so I can't pick the created query. How would I go about doing that?

@lowei ,

Have you solved your issue by now? If you have, could you please help mark the correct answer to finish the thread? Your contribution will be much appreciated.
