Hi All,
I have around 30 reports in QA, IS there a way I can automatically change connections from QA to Prod?
Thanks,
Aditya
Hi @Anonymous,
Unfortunately, there is no automatic way to change connections from QA to Prod.
I think here we can only change the connection one by one. There are two options for you to change data source currently. Here I made a test based on SQL Server database.
Option1:File Menu – Options and Settings – Data Source settings. Here we can change the server from QA to Pord. After that we need to edit the permission if necessary.
Option2: in the “Edit Queries” menu, we can change the code like this:
let Source = Sql.Databases("sqldatabaseprod"), databasename = Source{[Name="Test"]}[Data], dbo_Tablename = databasename{[Schema="dbo",Item=" Tablename "]}[Data] in dbo_ Tablename
In addition, You could submit this feature request at Idea page, your feedback is valuable to improve the level of our products. Thanks for your understanding.
Regards,
Frank
