I have traing completion %. Based on that we have given catogery for each trainer. The catogery are AB&C. Some times for a month one trainer may come under A 2 times B 1 time and C 4 Times. I need a measure that will give me Catogery %. That i can put in a graph. And i can get a output like for the Month of March what is the % of A catogery, B catogery and C catogery.
Solved! Go to Solution.
So all you need to do is add a column chart then put the category as the axis, the month as the legend then drag the completion to the values and it will create a stacked column with the same values as the chart.
Please post some example data and what the expected result would be.
Month | Trainer | Completion | Catogery |
Jan | Alex | 85 | c |
Jan | Alex | 80.6 | c |
Jan | Jade | 90 | b |
Jan | Pince | 100 | a |
Feb | Alex | 100 | a |
Feb | Jade | 86.7 | B |
Feb | Jade | 50.6 | c |
Feb | Prince | 60 | c |
Out put
Catogery | Jan | Feb |
A | % | % |
B | % | % |
C | % | % |
In out put we need what the the total % of Catogery of A, B & C. Means for Jan Over all A is 55%. Like This i need the out put.
Please help
Just put a matrix visual then use category as rows month as column and completion as the vlaue.
This will give you the output you provided you can either sum or average the percentages of each month.
Also I do not see how you get 55% for Jan A, can you please elaborate
Thanks for the reply.
Jan 55 % iu just gave as an example.
I got his in Matrix table format. I got stuck with the graph. I need to show catogry wise in graph. In bargraph i need to show this.
In that when i put this i am not getting this.
Hi @unnijoy,
I am not very clear about the syntax for percentage calculation. Could you illustrate your desired result with examples? What does below aluehighlighted vs should be based on the first table?
Best regards,
Yuliana Gu
Is this what you are looking to create?
Yes. And i need to show the same in a stacked Column chart.
So all you need to do is add a column chart then put the category as the axis, the month as the legend then drag the completion to the values and it will create a stacked column with the same values as the chart.
