Hello everyone,
I have the following data set structure:
Name | Code | Category |
A | 1 | A |
B | 2 | A |
C | 3 | A / B |
D | 4 | B |
E | 5 | A |
F | 6 | B |
Now what I want to be able to do is the following:
Some names are category A aswell as B now I want to create a filter that allows me to filter on A or B but when I filter on A I also want to see all the records that are A / B and if I filter on B I want to see all the A / B values aswell. (in my real dataset there are more than 3 categories)
Does anyone have a suggestion on how I should approach this ?
Thanks in advance!

Hi @Anonymous,
Create a calculated table which is unrelated to source table. Add 'Selecte Table'[Name] into slicer.
select table = VALUES(Table3[Name])
Add below measure into visual level filter.
check measure = IF(ISERROR(FIND(SELECTEDVALUE('select table'[Name]),SELECTEDVALUE(Table3[Category]))),0,1)
Best regards,

Hi @Anonymous
If your trying to have a table with this data, you can use "rData table" custom visual which has a lot of filtering options.
