Categorizing a column of numbers into Large, Medium, Small

I have a colum with market size for each company. I want to classify each company based on its size into Large, Medium, Small using its market size. So for medium I want to capture those that are >=$1bn and <=$1bn as Medium. What is the best way of achieving this?

Hello-

   The best way is a calculated column.  Right click in your data and click create column.

Type = if(calculate(sum(dollars))) > 1,000,000,000, "Large","Medium")

Hey,

I guess the articles that are linked on this side

https://www.daxpatterns.com/usecases/classification/

will provide what you are looking for.

My first guess, start with static segmentation:

Tom
