Categorized by definition using Measure

Hi Experts,

This question is further to my previous post below

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Measures-by-classification/td-p/822341

I'm not sure if it's workable.

Firstly, there is a list of customers and they classified as below

Customers will be classified into
A only - Yellow
B only - Orange

Mixed: A - Green (The list same as Blue actually)

Mixed: B - Blue (The list same as Green actually)

As these grouping will be used very frequently later to analyze their behaviour.

I would like to know is there a way to use Measure to define them, naming them so that I might use them in the later part?

If so, is there any examples I can learn?

Many many thanks,

Simon

I would like to define them a name. e.g. "A Only", "B Only"

So that I can call it somewhere like ......

Calculate( {Expression}, Customer IN {A Only} )

as a filter

It would be similar to "Define Name" in EXCEL, but it's dynamic

Hi,

Neither can i understand nor can i appreicate your question.  Someone else will help you.

The logic is -

Have A only - Yellow (contains CU000006, CU000007)
Have B only - Orange (contains CU000001, CU000002)

Mixed both A & B - Green or Blue  (contains CU000003, CU000004, CU000005, CU000008)

the customers in the lists will be changed by Slicer/Filter

I am not sure if this logic can be fed into create a measure

but definitely possible to create a Calculated Column/ new table with DAX query with your logic.

Keep this thread open and I hope someone with better DAX knowledge will be able to help you if this is possible at all and if that happens it would be amazing to learn that.
