Case of a letter is changed after applying changes

Hello,

Has  anybody experience this?

In the query editor, I applied Text.Trim to a column to remove leading and trailing spaces. The texts look fine in the editor but when imported, the texts are now in uppercase. Please see screenshot below:

Hi @danextian ,

You could vote for this idea: Case sensitive/insensitive option to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.

Hi @danextian ,

After my tests, I found the same result. However, they are not unified to uppercase, but are converted according to the format of the previous value.

Data is not case sensitive in DAX, I think this is the main reason for this result.

Hi @v-eachen-msft ,

Thanks for the feedback. Any idea how to prevent this behavior?
