Career oportunity with Power BI

Hello Every One

I just joined Power BI community. I will appreciate if any one answer to my question.

I am core accounting professional with many years of experience.  I wish to move in to Power BI career because I have very good accounting and business knowledge.

Kindly advise initially what courses/certification I should take to achieve mastery and become Power BI professional.

I heard  DAX, SQL and  R is very difficult subjects.

Thanks lot.

Re: Career oportunity with Power BI

If you are a proficient Excel user, DAX should not be very difficult for you to learn.

SQL is also not very difficult but you need to dedicate serious amount of time in the beginning.

R is indeed not a walk in the park, but it is a completely different field. You don't need to learn that at this stage if your ambition is to be a Power BI practitioner.

First, welcome to the world of power bi. Smiley Happy
For learning power bi, you can move your scrollbar top and you will find the 'learn' tab, I think you can take a look at these links for guide learning.
