Ok, not sure if i can explain this correctly but here we go. When you have a graph and click on an element the table on the same report will filter down to show what you have selected in the graph. e.g select October bar in graph shows details on all october widgets in the table.
How do i get this same behaviour using the cards visual? I have a card that shows the number of milestones completed. A table on the same page with all the tasks. I want the table to show only milestones completed if someone clicks on the card visual.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Currently, card visual is not able to click. So I am afraid your requirement cannot be done. If you are good at coding, you could create your own costom visual based on your requirement.

Hey,
I found this really cool trick (more of a hack) to work around this, You can use any visual you want (that has the "clicking" feature), I normally use a Pie chart. Format the visual so it only shows the value that the card shows (you can do this by excluding columns and groups in the visual level filter), then make the data colour of the visual white (or whatever your background colour is) and make the data label what ever color you want it to be, Increase the font size of the data label and give the visual a title and voila! You now have a visual that looks like a card but with the extra functionality of being clickable to filter other visuals and tables. Hope this helps.
