Card showing blanks

Hi,

I have looked through many other posts related to a card showing blank but I am still unable to figur eout what ive done wrong.

I have a cloumn that called status that has a few status's.

I f i have an empty filter, everything is showing fine.

However, when I change the filter I get blank

2.PNG

How do I make this a zero instead of blank. I tried creating a measure while following similar posts but im still getting blanks.

Thanks in advance

Re: Card showing blanks

Hi,

Try this measure

=COUNTA(Data[Status])

Hope this helps.

Re: Card showing blanks

As per your screenshot, you have selected one value in slicer visual just next to Card. Please unselect that value and then apply the visual level filter.

Re: Card showing blanks

Should perhaps create a measure like this:

Measure =
VAR __Count = COUNT('Table'[Status])
RETURN
IF(ISBLANK(__Count),0,__Count)

Use that in your Card visual

Re: Card showing blanks

@CrackerBen

Check for other filters on the page.

Plot this in a table visual and take status and count of status and see which value has how much count. That will help in checking.

Can you share sample data and sample output.

Re: Card showing blanks

Hi @CrackerBen ,

Please add +0 in your formula to work on it like that.

C = [count of status]+0

Re: Card showing blanks

Using

CountofStatus = COUNTA(Table1[Status])+0

still shows (Blank)

Re: Card showing blanks

Sadly, there is private information in the data. I can provide a screenshot of whats in the column if that helps?
