Card Drillthrough Question - Measure from Text field?

Hello, 

I am trying to have a card drill through to another card on a different page of a report. I've read the value on the card must be a Measure? but it is not - for example; it is 'Transaction List'[CustomerName].

I've been trying to identify how to write a Measure that just copies the text from that field so I can use the card as a Measure, but I can't seem to find it (which usually means I'm missing something very simple)

Any help would be appreciated.
