Capture snapshot

Hi,

I have SQL table and load it to Power BI.

The table is updated daily.

Is there anyway that I can create a Calculated table or whatever to store the snapshot data of the SQL table.

Thanks

Hi  @Harry_Tran ,

If you are using Import connection mode, the data will be imported into the Power BI AS engine for storage, which is equivalent to a copy and snapshot.

If you use Direct Query connection mode, the data will be modeled in Power BI, but it will not be stored inside, and the data will be obtained by connecting to the data source through data credentials when interacting with reports.

For information on using Calculated Tables or Measure to create snapshot data for stored SQL tables, you can review the following information.

You can also consider importing snapshot data using Power BI. Start Power BI and select "Folder" as the data source.
