Cant convert data into text and cant convert null into logic

Hello all, I pulled data from excel to power bi. there are a few columns that show error.

Column 1 , have numerical value and categorical value. 123456, or EF4567, but I cant change the data type from 123 to ABC. it shows "we cant convert the value null to type number". I would like it all keep at text.

Column 2 , have yes or no value, sometimes is null. but for the null value. it shows" we cant convert the value null to type logical'

I have tried to change the data type , detect data type. none works. 

Please share your experts in this case, thank you so much.

@Anonymous , blank() should be allowed in number. So null/blank() and "" should be converted to blank(). In power query, it should null.
