Cannot open a particular series of PBIX file on PowerBI Desktop (on my PC OK on another)

I am having an issue opening a series of PBIX files (backups 1 - 20) on my desktop.  Power BI tells me the files are corrupt but they aren't because I can open them in the web version and a colleague can open them on his desktop (although I am struggling to open them on a third desktop).  Other PBIX files open OK.  

 

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling PowerBI, clearing the cache etc etc.

 

My best guess is that is related to teh version of the Power BI software (my PC is running the latest) whereas my colleagues has an older version.

 

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this.

Hi @AndrewStoneman Are the PBIX files able to be opened on the third computer after installing the latest Power BI Desktop app?

@AndrewStoneman usually the newer versions can open the older files but older version can have an issue with the files saved with the newer version? What Power BI desktop version you are using?

Hello 

 

I am running 2.88.1385.0 (which may have auto updated today).

 

My colleague is running 2.88.1144.0 and  can open the files OK.

 

A third computer is running 2.88.802.0 and can't open the files (I am upgrading now)
