Cannot get rid of sum aggregate

Hi Everyone,

We're populating a pretty simple dataset from Azure IoT > Stream Analytics. When creating a report, everything looks fine. However, when we query the data, we only get the sum of all values. Here is a video which shows the problem pretty clearly: https://s.xy.ag/5XQKlViWaK/.

Any idea?

Thanks for looking into this!

Hi @ralf,

We can specify specific aggregation function in Q&A questions. In your scenario, please try to use highest or loweast function to see if it can return correct values. Also please go through tips to ask question in Q&A: Tips for asking questions in Power BI Q&A.

Best Regards,

Hi @ralf, can you right click on the field and choose "Do Not Summarize"?

Or...can you click on the visual, then in the X-axis field well, click the drop down arrow next to the field and select "Do Not Summarize"

Not sure if this is true at exactly 4pm, but if you look at the data table (in the video) you can see that you also have seconds in your timestamp.  So if you have multiple records at 4:00:XX then it is summing those.

See if when you use the Q&A to specificy a time down to the second that it returns the correct result.
