I am creating a tabular report in Power BI desktop, and need to exclude all rows where the item has not been sold in the range specified in the date slicer.
The data consists of a dozen imported tables from SQL.
I have tried using a page/report level filter on the sales qty column, however setting it to 'is not blank' does not exclude blanks.
I've also tried 'greater than 0 (which I don't want) and this also doesn't exclude them.
Even filtering on 'is blank' and i'is not blank', which I'd have thought should give me no results, leaves the blanks.
I'm sure this is basic, but what am I missing?
Thanks,
James
Hi @jamesp111,
Based on my test, set the page/report level filter with sales 'is not blank' could exclude rows where sales value is blank. In your scenario, please check what the data type of the the sales qty column is. Did you click 'Apply filter' button after setting 'is not blank' option?
If possible, please share your .pbix file with me so that I can check for you.

Yuliana Gu
