Cannot Choose How to Show Values in Visuals

Is it just me or is there a glitch in the new PBI update? I create a table last month with 2 fields: Callidlink and direction. They're both text. I changed Direction to count (distinct). Side note - this is used for QA'ing, otherwise, I'd create a measure instead. Anyway, the distinct count of the direction field is still preserved after the update, but if I try to change it, it doesn't give me any options, like count, don't summarize, first, last, etc. Even when I try to recreate the visual and try other fields with different data types, I can't find any of those option. Am I going crazy or did I find a bug in November's update???
