Hi all,
I was wondering whether it's possible to add a second field to an axis for description, such that it doesn't impact the data displayed in the chat itself?
To give context which may help clarify the ask: I have created a bar chart tracking revenue v costs for a number of projects, with each project's unique ID on the x-axis and $ on the y-axis. On the x-axis, below each project's unique ID I also want to display which client that project is for, whilst keeping the data within the chart split by project rather than client.
One solution would be to create an additional field within the source data which merges project ID and client name into a single variable to then plot on the x-axis, but I was wondering whether there is a simple way to do this within the report panel rather than transforming the data iself.
All thoughts appreciated
Thanks
Hi @Olliep
Did you try the custom tooltip?
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-custom-tooltips
@Olliep ,
Well, you can use the Project ID in Tooltip so that when hover on it, it will display your Project ID.
Don't forget to give thumbs up 👍 and accept this as a solution if it helped you
