Can we use a column to sort more than one columns

Hi,

I'm having two months columns. One is Normal month name another is having month name based on some conditons

So does i need to make two columns with month_number to sort both or i can do it using one.

(Note: - I'm not searching for Sorting a table using multiple columns)

Thsnks,
Gaurav Jangra

Hi @Anonymous ,

If we directly choose to sort by the Date column, there may be an error in the picture.

We can try to sort Date column with a month order.

Sort Order = MONTH([Date])

If it still fails, you can try to sort Date column with a custom order. For more information, please kindly refer to:

@Anonymous , if their granularity is the same. Means values are related 1-1 (Sort column and month/another month column) you can use one column to sort two-column .

You need to make sure the sort column and the main have the same granularity.

Example Month Name(Jan, feb..) can sort Month Number (1,2,..12)

Month year (Jan-2000.. Dec-2020), can sort in (200001 ....202012)
