Can we prompt a user for a value to filter the data in the report

Hello,

I've been trying to get a prompt in the report where the user can enter values for my parameters and then show the results in the report. 

So far,  I could not come across any solution for that. Can someone please help me out with this? 

Is it possible to prompt a user for values when the report is published in Power BI Service?

Hi -- I am curious if you ever found a solution for this question.  We are looking to pull in data from PowerBI into Excel, but prompt the data to filter it before coming in.

Hi @ameliarosaline,

You want to get a prompt in the report and the use enter the value manually? If it is, it's not supported in Power Bi. You can vote the feature request here.

Power BI support report filters, slicers, cross filtering etc. You can select what the report shows by selecting them. You can also filter your data by parametor. Please review the following articles.
