Can we filter the report data based on external input data ?

Hi Team , 

 

I have a requirement of rendering/refereshing the report based on the html check box values.Can we pass the checkbox values as input parameteres to power bi report.

Would need more details, that's kind of open ended and would depend on the specifics.

Hi @venkatmar,

 

Nope, current power bi not support interaction with current html elements and 'javascript' functions.

If you want to get the filtered data, I'd like to suggest you to get data from source api with defined parameters.

I am dealing on the same scenerio, I want external filters to be passed in HTML page and after submitting those the report should get rendered A/Q to those values can something like this be done?
