Can we format the fields in show as table.

It is unsupported to format the fields in show as table in Power BI currently. You may refer to the document . Do pay attention to the considerations and limitations. I'd like to suggest you post a new idea in Idea Forum and add your comments there to improve Power BI for making this feature coming sooner.

Unfortunetly as of now there is no option to format the "Show as a Table".

If you want your own formatting so use the tooltip feature as a table. Refer the below link:
