Can't open power BI desktop file in browser from SSRS 2016 report manager page

Hello,

I want to display a power BI desktop report on a share point page using iframe method.  I uploaded the powerBI file on SSRS 2016 report manger page but I can't open in web portal or browser. When I click on the file it only gives me the option to open/ save it on my pc. What did I miss? I have to open it in browser to embed / iframe the report in SharePoint page. Thanks in advance!

Where did you install the Technical Preview version of Power BI Desktop? Please keep in mind the preview only supports using the version of Power BI Desktop installed directly on the VM.

Could you follow this article to recheck your steps to create Power BI reports in the SQL Server Reporting Services Technical Preview?

In addition, as this is a Technical Preview feature of SQL Server Reporting Services, I would suggest you also go to Reporting Services forum for better assistance on this issue.
