Can't format calculated measure

Hi,

I'm using a tabular model in direct query mode so I don't have a lot of flexibility with the data. I've found that percentage measures from the model that are in decimal format (.50) can't be formatted to a percentage. The formatting section is greyed out whenever I select the measure. However if I create my own measure I'm able to adjust the formatting? Is this expected?

Thanks

Hi @id013 ,

Could you please try to use FORMAT function to work on it?

Measure 2 = FORMAT([Measure],"Percent")

What is the datatype of the column?  (you used the term "measure from the model", I assume you mean column?)

I see the "%" icon grey out when I change it to "Text" but it re-appears when I choose a numeric type...
