Can't do one-many relationship when I know for sure my values are unique

Hello,

I have a standard "Customer Demographic" table that holds customer information with unique IDs for each person. And a "Product Table" that shows every product a customer has, where a multiple customers can appear in the product table, as customers have more than one product.

I have a customer identifier in one table that is unique- I cleaned the data outside before bringing it in- I double checked for distinct values and made sure there weren't null values in my table.

The fields in question are both numeric fields. However, PowerBI won't let me do a one-to-many relationship and I need this to work in the data model. I've also tried removing duplicates with PowerBI's remove rows feature, but that didn't even do the trick.

Any ideas on what to do here?

Please try to create a new slicer table as the one end in one-to-many relationship.

SlicerTable = DISTINCT(SELECTCOLUMNS('Product Table',"CustomerID",'Product Table'[CustomerID]))

@jngu07 can you put customer id and count of customer in a table visual and double check if any of the count is not showing more than one?
