Can´t access used measures anymore

Hello there,

I currently have the problem that in the report I am working with, I can´t access the measures I created anymore.
So neither the formular bar is showing, neither can i use the modelling tab on it after I published it once.

If I create a new measure everything is working.

Do you maybe have an idea how to resolve this?

Kind regards,
Johannes

Hi @Joschrd

Do you mean the report opend by Power BI Desktop or report in Power BI Service( web part)?

If it is the report in Power BI Service, there is no formula bar or modeling menu in Power BI Service by design.

If it is the report opend by Power BI Desktop, it's werid.

Please let me know something as follows:

1. which data source do your pbix connect?

2. do you import that data or use direct query, live connection for connection mode?

Power BI Import, Direct Query and Live Connection Basic

3. are the measures you are unable to access created in Power BI or your data source?

4.could you show a screenshot of what you think is strange?

Best Regards
Maggie

Hi @v-juanli-msft

I am opening it in PowerBI Desktop.

I am using an import query to a database and all calculations which are affected are done by Power BI.
Here you can see that neither the formular bar nor the modelling is available.
ErrorIf I create a new one, it looks like it should be:
Normal
I hope this is enough information.

Hi @Joschrd

I can't reproduce your problem.

I use Version: 2.68.5432.841 64-bit (April 2019), which version do you use?

Do you have many different datasources and do you use a composite mode?

Best Regards
Maggie

Hi @v-juanli-msft

I am using 2.68.5432.841 64-bit (April 2019) as well.

I have only one connection to one database and I am pulling 10 tables from it.

The error never occured before as well, only in this specific report.

Regards,
Johannes
