Can't Connect to AAS - This server does not support Microsoft account authentication

Hi,

I used to be able to connect to AAS using my Microsoft account but I am unable to now. I tried using another machine to connect to it using the same account and it works just fine.

I was following the solution from this thread and this is still what I get.

I even removed completely the data source from my global permissions and when I try to connect back, it does not even let me enter my credentials.

This problem only arises in my machine.

Is there another fix to this?

Thanks!

Daren

Hi @v-yiruan-msft

I just found out that one piece of my access credentials is missing so I had the administrator added it back it. It now works.

Thanks for the reply!

Hi @darentengmfs ,

Sorry for delay. You mean that you can sign in with Microsoft account before but currently you can't when you connect to Azure Analysis Service? And you can still sign in with same Microsoft account in other person' machine except your machine? It is very strange.... Judging from these information, it seems that the account is okay. After all, you can sign in before and also log in on someone else's computer. Did you make any change in your machine? And please check whether your Microsoft account still have at least read permissions for the related model database. Thank you.

I have what seems to be a similar issue and would appreciate your help. What piece of your access credentials was missing?
