Hi All,
I have spent the last 4 hours trying to apply a change to a single bridge query and the best I can get is:
"OLE DB or ODBC error: Evaluation ran out of memory and can't continue."
All other applications were closed... I just had PowerBI running on a brand new laptop with 16GB Ram, a solid state drive and a 25MB internet connection.
Data tables are Excel and stored in OneVirtualOffice.
Largest file is 12Mb, largest combined query is 0.5m rows.
I have checked the settings in options and as far as I can tell they are set to the advice I can find on the internet and within this forum.
Short of rebuilding the whole thing from scratch I can't think of where I can go from here...
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Hi @Anonymous ,
I need to know more information to understand your scenario better.
Which data connector do you use? Excel or ODBC?
Do you have this issue for other data source in OneVirtualOffice?
I'll suggest you have a test with a very simple excel file.
In addition, you could have a reference of this similar thread which has been solved.
Best Regards,
Cherry
Hi Cherry,
Thank you for your reply.
Through my company I have now raised a support ticket with Microsoft so I will let them investigate and if they can fix it I will post the result here.
I will also investigate the link you sent me while I am waiting for them to reply.
Regards,
Moby
