Can not connect with REST API. We couldn't authenticate with the credentials provided.

Hello,

I am trying to connect with our REST API Source in Power BI, but i get the error message "We couldn't authenticate with the credentials provided. Please try again."

When I use the same URL and API Key in Postman it works fine.

In the Access Web Content I selected "Basic" and put in the filed "Username" my API Key, as described in other solutions. Also I tried  in the  Access Web Content "Web API", same error.

In Postman I have to specify which Key I use, in my case it is "X-API-KEY" do I have to specify this somewhere in PBI or what am I doing wrong?

Kind regards Björn

@bkoenen check this view, it talks a lot about API as a source. Accessing API and web service data using Power Query - by Chris Webb - YouTube
