Hi @ganesh_simhadri,

I think rest api will suitable for your requirement, you only need to use power bi shell to create dataset and report.

Do i need to register my app on azure ? is there any alternative solution for this?

Yes, you need to register and get permission to allow rest api to access your data. I haven't found other methods to achieve this without rest api.
