Can a dashboard refer to another dashboard?

Hi,

So I have these dashboards where in each one I use the same measure:

The TabsThe TabsThe measureThe measure

In the overview tab I want to show the result of this measure in each tab eg.

PRS site 1 replacment cost, PRS site 2 replacment cost ect....

Some of the feeds I've read mention custom links (I have no clue how these work!) ?

Do I need to publish it online to make it work maybe?

Thanks

Cambell

Hi @Anonymous,

Have you created visuals for each measure in each tab(report page)? And do you want to link each tab(report page) to see visuals of all measures in the Overview report page?

If that is the case, publish your Power BI Desktop file to Power BI Service, then add an Text Box in the Overview report page listing all names of other report pages, add URL of each report page as hyperlink for each report page name.  This way, by clicking each report page name in the Overview report page you will be navigated to other relevant report page. There is an example for your reference.

Hi,

I yes I have created visuals for each measure in each tab(report page) and I want to show the results all together on a seperate page. I don't want a page that just has links to each page as I want the results all together to be compared. I've tried pinning the visual results from each tab on a workbook (I think thats what you call it) and they don't update even when I refresh the dashboards after changing them. If I pin the entire page then that updates/ you can interact with but I don't want that as then you might as well just view each tab.

I hope that makes sense and I'm not missing something!

Best wishes,

Cambell

Hi @Anonymous,

Why not directly copy these visuals for each measure to OverView report page? And do you want to the reports to be updated in Power BI Service after you change the undelying data? If so, you can set schedule refresh for your dataset in Power BI Service.

Thanks,
